Farmers Feed the Elephants - World Elephant Day, August 12th

Howdy! We would love y'all to join Elephants Austin at Ten Thousand Villages for an all day shopping affair for World Elephant Day. This year’s theme is “Farmers Feed the Elephants” and a percentage of your purchases will be sustaining the starving elephants of Thailand. After 15 months without income from tourism due to COVID, Thailand’s captive elephants are in peril and need our help. They need food now. Our goal for this fundraiser is to support Trunks Up and Save Elephant Foundation in their food bank drive. The food purchased for the elephants is sourced locally and aids the farming community and their families as well. Fun Things! We will have a raffle drawing and give away swag for shoppers! Mention Elephants Austin on check out! Ten Thousand Villages would prefer masking up.

Trunks Up is a non-profit organization dedicated in supporting the work of Lek Chailert, founder of Save Elephant Foundation. Save Elephant Foundation works tirelessly to save elephants all across Thailand and beyond.

WHERE: Ten Thousand Villages @ 4803 Burnet Rd., Austin, TX.
